Pure Water and Healthy life both are parallel things. Water is something required for life whether there is human, animals or trees. They all need water to survive. Children carry higher proportion of water in the body. Children are less tolerant to heat. So they need more water. That why dehydration is common in children.
As per UNICEF report, in developing countries, more than half of primary schools have no adequate water facilities and nearly two-thirds lack adequate sanitation.
Drinking water is a major source of microbial pathogens in developing countries. Waterborne disease causes more than 2 million deaths and 4 billion cases of diarrhea annually.
9 out of 10 deaths are in children and virtually all of the deaths are in developing countries.
Without water, the human body would stop working properly. Water aids in digestion, absorption of food, regulates body temperature and blood circulation, carries nutrients and oxygen to cells and removes toxins and other wastes.

As we live in same world we all breathe same air but in our life there are so many things we are still missing and we found that people around us still deprived of three most important things to survive which are Shelter, Food and water. As this is very common tradition among us of giving back to society in different ways and by different means.
